about me

I care about experiences that help people feel confident, whether they're navigating a complex flow or moving through a small moment of interaction. When the work is done well, it shows up where it should. Sometimes as a small moment of delight, sometimes as something so efficient you don't notice it at all.

Two backgrounds shape how I get there. One side of my work is rooted in information systems: making complexity clear and the path forward feel possible. The other comes from marketing: visual craft, storytelling, and the small decisions that shape how a product feels.

I've taken this approach across scrappy high-growth startups and large, structured organizations. At Upwork, I shaped tools that helped clients and freelancers collaborate. Most recently at Etsy, I led design for sellers' financial experience, helping them understand, manage, and grow their businesses.

I'm currently contracting at AMEX on the enterprise team, and open to new design opportunities where I can keep doing this kind of work. Let's connect.

outside of work

You can usually find me cooking up a storm in the kitchen and hosting dinners for friends. Otherwise, I’m traveling, making a flower arrangement, or getting lost in a new cyberfixation.

Recently, I’ve been playing Tears of the Kingdom on the Nintendo Switch, learning metal-based jewelry techniques, and playing around with my FLX4 DJ controller.
